Meet Julie Yost, Payroll Benefits Coordinator.
Julie comes to us from Winneconne where she lives with her husband Pete. She says "I've been married to the love of my life for 10 years, and have an awesome stepson and daughter-in-law." Joining them are a senior dog and 3 hooligan cats. Her horse "Bennie" is boarded about 15 minutes from home, and she spends as much time with him as possible.
Family is very important to Julie and she is thankful that both of her parents are still alive and in relatively good health. Her sister and family live about an hour and half away, and her almost 13 year old niece comes to visit frequently. Julie enjoys country living and loves to see wildlife in the yard: wild turkeys, deer, owls, raccoon, turtles, skunks (as long as the dog is not out), and even the occasional coyote.
Julie joined LHHS 15 years ago, she was new to the area, and was drawn to LHHS because of its Christian values and how that translated into quality care. She enjoys the interaction with residents, listening to their stories. She was extremely close to her grandmother that had passed away two years earlier and she was missing the interaction they had.
She shares, her tasks revolve around processing the most accurate payroll possible every week. There are a lot of behind the scenes tasks that need to be completed to make accuracy possible. Her "customers" are also her co-workers, and by ensuring they are paid timely and accurately allows them to concentrate on their day to day processes.
When she's not ensuring accurace in time and benefits she likes to go hiking, camping, horseback riding, scrapbook, and spend time with her family.
