75th Anniversary Open House Celebration
The public is invited to a celebration of historic proportions scheduled for September 7th at all of Lutheran Homes and Health Services’ locations in honor of the 75th year of commitment to providing care to people of all faiths and financial means in the Fond du Lac area. The festivities begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Macy Street Campus with a Dedication Service led by Pastor Dean Desilet who will be providing a blessing over the newly renovated spaces including the C.D. Smith Therapy Gym, Ahern-Gross Palliative Care Suite, Hometown Bank Technology Center and Sadoff Library.
Following the dedication, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Macy Street Campus attendees are encouraged to celebrate Grandparent’s Day by enjoying a variety of refreshments, giveaways, entertainment and activities with our residents and special guests that will delight every generation--the City Lights Barbershop Quartet and Browser the Fond du Lac Public Library Mascot. Our expert and compassionate staff will be available to answer your questions about services for the aging and provide opportunities to help you live long and live well.
Moments by Eloise, the new gift shop located in the lobby will be open to the public. All proceeds from sales throughout the year directly enrich the lives of residents, as well as proceeds from the staff-driven annual basket raffle which will also be on display.
From 2-4 p.m., a shuttle service will be available to offer attendees the opportunity to tour and experience the hospitality of St. Peter’s Place and DeNeveu Creek Retirement Community.
