Pastoral Care

Spiritual care is essential to the Mission of Lutheran Homes and Health Services. With respect for each person’s religious preference, worth, tradition and dignity, our chaplaincy services strive to meet the spiritual needs of the people we serve.

Chaplaincy services, available to residents, families and staff, include ecumenical worship services led by our full-time Chaplain, Catholic Mass, various church denominational services, specialized music events, Bible studies, discussion and education groups, religious counseling, memorial services and funerals. Lutheran Homes and Health Services is an affiliated and recognized social ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

"Love each other as I have loved you." John 15:12
